About us
Agripodere il Falco was born from our desire to breathe new life into an ancient 16th-century stone village, transforming it into a retreat where nature and hospitality come together. Surrounded by 21 hectares of woods and olive groves, we envisioned this place as a space for positive seclusion: an invitation to slow down and find time, silence, and balance, without sacrificing comfort. In the heart of Lunigiana, on the hills of Pontremoli, we welcome you to an authentic place to experience and breathe in.

How to get here
BY CAR
- Take the Pontremoli highway exit.
- Turn right.
- Take the second right, crossing the river.
- Follow the signs for Pontremoli center.
- Next, follow the signs for the hospital (it will be on your right, after an underpass).
- After passing the hospital, turn left and follow the signs for
- Passo del Brattello and Grondola.
- Continue uphill for about 1.5 km.
- At a hairpin turn where you’ll see our sign, take the side road on the left.
- Follow the side road for about 2 km, keeping to the right.
- At the end of the road, you’ll find a gate leading to the Agripodere parking lot.
BY TRAIN
- Get off at the Pontremoli station.
- Take a taxi directly to the agriturismo, or continue on foot along the state highway or past the town’s castle (about 1 hour). Follow the walking directions for more details.
ON FOOT

Head toward Pontremoli Castle.

Take the uphill path located to the right of the Church of Sant’Ilario and continue straight ahead.

At the intersection with the municipal road—marked by a small statue of the Virgin Mary on the left—turn left.

Continue to the end of the road where the farmhouse is located, keeping to the right.

Walking time: about 40 minutes.

Total elevation gain: about 200 m.

The property has been recently renovated throughout with beautiful exposed stonework. The rooms are quite spacious and spotlessly clean. The kitchen serves excellent dishes made with all-natural ingredients. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

A farmhouse nestled in nature, in the middle of a forest. The peace and quiet here is priceless. The breakfast was excellent, and it’s great to be able to dine on-site, since it’s not too close to town. The swimming pool was the feature that really won us over. Excellent panoramic view of the valley, home-cooked meals and breakfast made with farm-fresh ingredients—nothing is pre-cooked or processed, from appetizers to desserts. The room and attached bathroom were comfortable. The pool is beautiful and filled with saltwater, so it doesn’t smell like chlorine. We’ll be back!
